About Us
This year we are proud to celebrate our 16th anniversary. The Dixie Cruisers Car Club is a --NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANIZATION-- at the end of each year we donate all of the proceeds to charties. We originated in Barrow County, Ga. and currently our members reside in several counties- including Barrow, Hall, Walton, Jackson, Gwinnett and others. This year we will have seven monthly "Cruise-In" events, starting the fourth Saturday in April at Holly Hill Mall, Winder, Ga. At each of these events we have an average of 100 "entrants" and several hundred "spectators". These entrants come from counties all over north Georgia to display their classic automobiles. We award the top participants a plaque, and throughout the event we have drawings for door prizes. It's a chance for people to come together and share a common interest. It's a chance not only to learn about classic automobiles, but a chance to take a look back at the past. In addition to the Cruise-In events, we will also have our annual "Car-Show" in September.

With the help of sponsors, we are able to hold these events and ultimately give back to our communities. At the end of every year, we donate all our earnings to charity-- with a focus on children's charities.
Over the past four years we have donated almost $19,000.00 to the following charities: * 2007 donations totaled over $4000.00 * The Shrine Children's Hospital * Peace Place ( A shelter for victims of domestic violence ) * VISTA * The Tree House ( Child Advocacy Center ) * The Lions Club * The Barrow County Food Pantry ***********************************************************************************************************************
